So, who's behind the screen?
(This is my dad and I on Thanksgiving, keepin' it real.)
So I got the idea to start a blog the summer after my freshman year at UCLA. Actually, I had a lot bigger ideas, I wanted to start a full fledged site.
My original site was www.laminuteblog.com. Then I turned it into www.laminutesports.com. That turned into a website collecting web-dust and cobwebs. I didn't make enough time for my project during my second year at UCLA and I felt like if I couldn't do it exactly how I wanted then I should just leave it be. Then someone who I had met online who was also a Lakers fan approached me to go into "business" together. However, That eventually fell through.
At the end of my second year I put together a few posts and tried to publicize it on facebook and twitter to friends and other LA sports fans. I got some decent feedback, but life conspired against me yet again with such time restraints and I had to abandon the site yet again. (This wasn't free mind you).
So here I am, finally settling into the ideal that I probably am not going to be able to create the next ESPNLA, gain enough followers to create thousands in revenue all while maintaining a constant stream of Los Angeles sports information. I've decided to start it all over again here, and see if I can write a couple blog posts a week. I feel that its a lot harder to let myself down this way, and the less I let myself down, the more I can write.
It's funny, I used to hate writing, but when it's about something you love, the words just flow through your fingers.
